This is the first post of the 'Best of' series. This series will focus on everything that happened in the given week - great articles, freebies, breathtaking wallpapers, beautiful photography, people you should know about and cool apps. Its a round-up of all the things that got people talking and I'm sure you'll find it useful if just want to go through 'The Best'. Enough talk.

Wallpaper of the week

A beautiful wallpaper by ~vivisektor. It seems as if the bridge is leading us into a mysterious, unknown world beyond the fog. Perfect for you if you are one those dreamy types like me, who could sit and stare at it for hours.

Image of the week

'Moving on' by Anders Lonnfeldt
While I was browsing through Creattica for some inspiration, I came across this photograph by Anders Lonnfeldt. I stopped there for 5 minutes to have a proper look at this. This is a beautiful photograph with all the right colors and a calm atmosphere. The way this man is silhouetted against the sun is just perfect! Anders Lonnfeldt's portfolio and his work - Its simply amazing! Check it yourself here if you don't believe me.

People and websites you should know about

Abduzeedo.com

This was the website which introduced me to the world of digital art and photoshop. Founded by the great Fabio Sasso, Abduzeedo is an awesome website for inspiration, freebies and tutorials, and also listed among the top 10 sources for art and design inspiration by Mashable. Do have a look! Twitter: @abduzeedo

App of the week

TeuxDeux is a simple, designy, browser-based to-do app. And yes, its one of the most minimalistic to-do app I've seen till now. You just have to enter a task for a day of the week and it is added to the list. If you didn't complete any task the day before, it is transfered to the current day. The things keep piling up if you procrastinate and the long list makes you work hard to shorten it.
